A practical F2F security guide covering Creator Care, geoblocking, team access, recovery and the wider creator-operation security model.
Security is broader than a password
F2F highlights Creator Care features including geoblocking and additional protection resources. Creators should combine platform controls with secure devices, 2FA where available and controlled cloud access.
Geoblocking is a privacy tool, not invisibility
Geoblocking can reduce exposure in selected locations, but creators should not treat it as a guarantee that content can never be copied, shared or discovered elsewhere.
Separate team responsibilities
Chat, publishing, finance and security settings should not automatically be accessible to the same people. Use the platform’s agency and management options where available and maintain an offboarding process.
Prepare recovery information
Document the account owner, recovery email, phone, support route and the people authorized to contact support. Review this information whenever the team changes.
Continue with current F2F data
Compare public F2F creator profiles, rankings and statistics on Famez Creators, then verify current prices, account rules and feature availability on the official platform before making a purchase or business decision.
Explore current creator data
Directory counts can change as profiles are imported, merged or updated.
Turn privacy settings into an operating policy
Geoblocking and privacy controls should be connected to a documented creator decision rather than enabled once and forgotten. Record which locations or audiences are intentionally restricted, why the restriction exists and who may change it. Recheck the live F2F settings after major account updates because privacy requirements can change as a creator’s audience, residence or personal circumstances change.
Keep public promotion aligned with those restrictions. There is little value in paying for traffic from a location the creator intentionally blocks, and a campaign team should know when geographic targeting conflicts with the creator’s privacy policy.
F2F security review workflow
| Review area | Question | Action if unclear |
|---|---|---|
| Account ownership | Can the creator recover the account without an agency employee? | Document owner, recovery route and approved contacts |
| Team access | Does every person still need the access they have? | Remove obsolete sessions and reduce permissions |
| Privacy / geoblocking | Do current settings match the creator’s documented boundaries? | Review blocked regions and promotion targeting |
| Media handling | Are originals and sensitive records stored outside the platform? | Move masters to controlled storage with backup |
| Fan communication | Are escalation rules clear for complaints or sensitive requests? | Define handoff to manager or creator |
Prepare for account and team changes
Security is most likely to break during transitions. When a manager, chatter or contractor changes, review sessions, credentials, shared folders, campaign tools and any copied creator data. Do not treat removal from one chat group as complete offboarding.
For agencies, pair the F2F security review with a central access register. The register should show who has access, why they need it, when it was last reviewed and who is responsible for removing it.

Create a privacy escalation path for sensitive cases
Not every security question is a technical incident. A creator may need help with unwanted recognition, repeated harassment, exposure in a restricted region or a fan conversation that crosses a personal boundary. Define which situations a chatter or support person may handle, which require a manager, and which must be escalated directly to the creator.
The escalation record should contain only the minimum information needed to make the decision. Avoid copying sensitive fan or creator data into multiple chats and documents. Centralizing the case history reduces privacy risk and makes later review easier.
Privacy and security escalation matrix
| Signal | Immediate action | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Possible account compromise | Stop non-essential changes and secure recovery access | Creator + security owner |
| Geoblocking conflict | Pause conflicting promotion and verify current privacy settings | Manager |
| Harassment / boundary issue | Preserve necessary evidence and stop informal handling | Manager / creator |
| Former staff access | Remove sessions and workspace access, then verify | Operations owner |
| Unclear sensitive request | Do not improvise; escalate through the documented path | Assigned supervisor |
Review promotion and privacy together
Marketing and privacy decisions should not be managed in separate silos. If a creator changes geoblocking or audience restrictions, the campaign team should review active traffic sources, landing pages and regional targeting at the same time. This avoids paying for unreachable traffic and reduces accidental exposure in locations the creator intentionally excluded.
Add this review to the normal monthly account check and after any major change in creator residence, public identity or team structure. Security controls work best when they remain connected to how the account is actually promoted and operated.
